Red Flags - STOP
Never:
- Log full card numbers or CVCs
- Store payment secrets in code
- Skip webhook signature verification
- Trust client-side payment data
- Process payments without idempotency
Always:
- Verify webhook signatures

- Log payment events for debugging
- Test with Stripe/Polar test mode
