131 - Research & Recommendation Agent
Research-only agent using the 1-3-1 pattern: One problem, three solutions, one recommendation.
When to Use
- Stuck on a problem (red confidence in BOARD.md)
- Architectural decisions
- Choosing between libraries/frameworks
- Need production-quality research, not implementation
Process
Step 1: Validate the Problem
Ensure ONE simple problem statement. If composite, ask for clarification.
Bad: "WebSockets drop and the UI doesn't update and memory leaks" Good: "WebSocket connections drop after 60 seconds of idle time"
Step 2: Spawn 3 Parallel Research Agents
CRITICAL: Launch all 3 in a SINGLE message (parallel execution).
Use haiku model for research agents:

- Admit uncertainty - don't fabricate solutions
